As another year comes to a close, we can't help but reflect on the past 12 months and how it impacted our lives personally and professionally. The highs, the lows, the wins, the losses, and the lessons learned along the way. 2015 was definitely an exciting and challenging year for me as this was the year I launched my small business, Cube Appeal (as I’m sure all you girl bosses can relate!)
Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine, so having that passion about what I was doing fuel my drive to work hard, and not quit was definitely a big help. But I also had to battle my doubts and insecurities. What would people think of my products. What if no one buys anything? I think we all battle those fears when venturing into something new and unknown.
But, If I could sum up 2015 in one word it would be “love”. I started my business when I decided that my desire to do, outweighed my fear of rejection.
I chose a business that allowed me to do what I loved, and in turn I hope to inspire and impact other women like myself with my products and my story.
And so much love has come my way from fellow girl bosses, mompreneurers, new Instagram followers, collaborators, friends and family who have encouraged me and supported me along this only first step of what I hope to be a life long journey of growth and discovery.
So I can ‘t help but think fondly of this year as the year I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something completely new, knowing that there are others out there hustling and chasing afer their dreams too that are happy to share their love and support for each other.
